Skin concern:
Hyperpigmentation caused by lifestyle factors such as sun exposure
The Solution:
Prepped the skin with a full home care routine, including tyrosinase (pigment) inhibitors, essential fatty acids – both internal and external, and of course SPF before we started treatments. We achieved this result in 10 sessions – combining Enzyme Therapy with peels, Skin Needling and BBL HERO
Skin concern:
Hormonal type hyperpigmentation, called Melsama.
The Solution:
Followed the same prep process, targeting both internal and external supplementation. We then proceeded with a different treatment course. This was achieved by creating a healthy, fully functioning skin with 2 Enzyme Therapy treatments before performing the Cosmelan Peel, which is specially formulated for hormonal pigmentation
Skin concern:
Our young client was a 16 year old girl who had suffered from inflamed acne for 4 years. Inflamed acne is a hereditary condition of the follicle, which often flares in puberty due to the surge in hormones.
The Solution:
First we started controlling new acne formation using a prescription of DMK actives at home to work on the underlying congestion that had built up over years. We then scheduled a series of 10 treatments in clinic 2-4 weeks apart, utilising custom exfoliants - some which had a few days downtime, but was well worth it! After clearing the acne, reducing inflammation and controlling the buildup, we started working on scar revision, which included Dermapen needling and Potenza RF needling
Skin concern:
Inflammatory Acne on darker Fitzpatrick skin type.
The Solution:
Treating darker skin always comes with its own set of considerations as it is extremely prone to hyper pigmentation. We made sure the skin was supported with full home prescriptives to prep the skin and make sure it would heal well post treatments. In clinic we performed as series of Enzyme Therapy treatments with various pre exfoliations (including Mini RP’s) with LED and then skin needling. We now see these two for the occasional maintenance treatment which consists of a Mini Clinical treatment or a Clinical treatment with LED.

How long does each treatment take?
Each treatment takes 75 minutes including your pre treatment consultation and any post care advice. We know most of us are time poor but we need a bit of time to chat through your goals and check in on why your skin is behaving the way it is.
Are the treatments safe for sensitive skin?
All our treatments are completely customised so the answer is yes! If you have chronically high histamine levels or tend to get heat rashes we recommend taking an anti histamine prior to your first Laser Genesis treatment. The Cellular Regeneration Treatment has 6 different treatment exfoliants and ampoules to choose from - and some of those are specifically designed for eczema and barrier impaired skin. The others will target things like acne, rosacea, pigmentation or any other dysfunction you’re concerned with.
When will I see results?
Your skin has morphed into its current state over years - so it’s only fair to expect that real changes take time…. Generally a series of 6 treatments or more is necessary for long term results, but the beauty of these initial treatments is that you’ll immediately kickstart the skin’s cellular function and see an instant glow and increased hydration
